Unruly bots

Wow, my log files are chock full of entries from rude bots. Here’s a list.

63.148.99.239 – Cyveillance Inc. — Throws junk requests at the server, pillages, doesn’t ask for robots.txt. My guess is my mention of ringtones. Get a life guys.
208.66.195.* – Digital Infinity — Just plain rude, grabs everything. They say it asks for robots.txt, and it’s true, it went away for awhile, then it came back. Ended up banning the range.
85.255.117.* – My Ukranian comment spam buddy. Banned the range.
linkiewinkie – ya just have to chuckle
67.202.60.246 – amazonaws – I saw a post that indicates it could be farmed out server space and not Amazon per se. If that is the case, it’s probably someone scraping. Sad, come on Amazon, clean it up.

My .htaccess file is getting a workout. This isn’t an exhaustive list, all add to it when more annoying bots show up.
